Carol Hanratty: 3rd Vice and Chair Of Libraries Sub local

Hi, my name is Carol Hanratty, and I have been working in Libraries since 1978. We were part of the Fraser Valley Regional Library system, cupe local 1698, but split from them in 1983 and joined Surrey as a sub local. I recently became involved with the union, and am finding it most interesting and somewhat challenging at times. I currently hold the position of chairperson for our library sub-local, and the 3rd vice chair for cupe 402. I sit on the Law and Constitution, and Grievance committees of 402, which I enjoy being a part of. I have 2 grown daughters, and have lived in the South Surrey/White Rock area since coming to Canada from Scotland.
